Our client is a well-funded internet business that combines elements of e-Commerce, content management, enterprise search, and web analytics. They offer services to online businesses that want to inspire customer loyalty by providing rewards to their members. The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager will report to the Vice President of Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
--Research market requirements and gather strategic direction and feature-level details from customer interactions, competitive analysis, market trends, and other sources
--Document business requirements and detailed functional requirements
--Work with designers on user experience as part of product development lifecycle
--Support Product Development with coding, testing, and product release
--Serve as product expert and resource for sales, marketing, and service teams
--Develop definitions of whole solution and coordinate with other departments to build plans for solution delivery
REQUIREMENTS
--Bachelors degree (a technical degree and MBA are favored)
--3+ years of product management experience in software or internet companies
--Experience in related enterprise software markets (CRM, Marketing Automation, e-Commerce, Analytics/BI, Enterprise Search, Content Management) or internet markets (B2C e-Commerce, Internet Search, B2C web businesses, Web 2.0 businesses, etc.)
--Experience working in or with financial services, travel, hospitality, or retail industries
--Strong software and technology background and ability to keep technically abreast with development
--Demonstrated ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams
--Experience working closely with development, QA, sales, marketing, and services teams
