Manager, Field Marketing and Events

Responsibilities 

* Execute a wide scope of corporate marketing events to meet targets for sales segments, product lines and corporate goals.
* Understand company’s brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging Manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environment.
* Monitor campaign execution and results, including outbound and web promotions for driving event registration and manage external relationships with conference organizers and booth logistics agencies
* Research and report creative event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget. Provide onsite event support, registration management and other duties assigned by director of group as necessary.

Qualifications
 
3-5 years successful event management experience planning small-scale events (receptions, meetings, roundtables, etc) and large events (product launches, symposium and tradeshows), preferably in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment.
* Experience in managing budgets
* Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
* Results-oriented, customer driven, organized with attention to detail Ability to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline oriented environment
* Thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles
* Self-starter, motivated and able to multi-task; Able to work with a minimum of supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address client's needs
* Experience with on-line registration systems and reporting
* Strong project management skills with a desire to improve current processes
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce.com is a plus
* Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel when required
