Sr. Product Manager-WebEx Connect Marketplace and Partner Ecosystem
Description:
Manage and drive requirements for the new and exciting WebEx Connect Marketplace, and work with other Product managers, engineering teams and product marketing in delivering a killer user experience for marketplace visitors, who are both business users as well as ISV partners that will be building applications on the WebEx Connect platform.
Overall Responsibilities:
· Define requirements via MRDs, and PRDs and functional design documents for the Connect Marketplace
· Work with Connect partners (ISV and technology) to define collaborative applications that get listed in the marketplace
· Manage the product team through the product development processes to ensure introduction of the product to market on time and on budget
· Define the structure and UI of the marketplace by working with human factor engineering teams and marketing/communications.
· Drive cross-functional initiatives that promote the marketplace and the Connect platform to partners, customers and developers.
Track Web 2.0 industry trends and networks with key influencers
Evangelize and educates internal and external audiences
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
· BS or MS degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business, and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
· 4 - 7 years experience in product management and/or product marketing with application software vendors
· Strong experience with web applications and passion/knowledge of Web 2.0 trends
