We are looking for a smart Web-savvy marketer with solid SEO experience to manage our Internet marketing programs.

Responsibilities:

This individual will be responsible for coordinating all of Dash’s Internet advertising and online promotion activities, as a part of the company’s positioning and branding campaigns. He/she will oversee the planning and buying of paid search and banner advertising by agency partners, as well as initiate and manage online viral initiatives and promotional partnerships.

This individual will be expected to test and (where successful) optimize new and innovative ways to reach Dash’s potential customers online. He/she will also be responsible for the dash.net website, including constantly optimizing its organic search ranking. The successful candidate will monitor and report on the success of the online initiatives and continuously optimize each initiative and the overall online mix to maximize awareness, understanding, and purchase (both online and at retail) of the Dash device.

A successful candidate must have demonstrated success in online media planning and buying, for both organic and paid search optimization. Must be “Web 2.0 savvy” individual with a detailed understanding of current online advertising and partnership trends and opportunities.

The Product Management Director will take end-to-end ownership of the product, identify market requirements, define the product vision and strategy, create preliminary design concepts and lead the implementation of the overall product from concept to delivery. Skills, Education & Requirements

·         Requires 5+ years of directly relevant, hands-on marketing or product mgmt.
·         3-5 years Enterprise software development experience

·         Understand customers IT infrastructure and capabilities.
·         Knowledge of software development methodologies

Sharpcast is looking for an Online Marketing Manager/Senior Manager to lead the company’s product, online, email and partner marketing efforts. The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day execution of Sharpcast’s marketing programs, managing the marketing budget and achieving key business objectives such as traffic, sales and user and subscriber growth by monitoring and improving campaign performance. This individual will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities

Product marketing:

  • Customer insights – Understand customers’ needs and desires specifically related to the existing Sharpcast product and generally related to their day-to-day interactions within their digital world.
  • Product enhancements – Convert customer’s feedback into new product features and functionality; partner with Product Management team to create product map
  • Product messaging – Determine most effective way to communicate product benefits to customer; incorporate messaging into product, corporate website and marketing materials

 Campaign execution and optimization:

  • Search -- Work closely with Search Marketing agency to recommend bid strategy, monitor results and optimize bids to maximize ROI.
  • Grassroots marketing -- Establish relationships with websites that attract the Sharpcast target demographic; convince these websites to evangelize Sharpcast to maximize marketing exposure and reach.
  • Viral marketing -- Through an in-house referral program, find product evangelists within Sharpcast customer base and incentivize them to acquire more customers.
  • Affiliate program -- Manage the Affiliate Program to increase subscriber growth by implementing innovative contests and developing custom offers for top-performing affiliates.  Build relationships with affiliates through frequent outreach and communication.
  • Strategic partnerships – Identify and build partnerships with other businesses to bundle the Sharpcast offering with their products and services.
  • Email -- Manage the company’s email program, including marketing newsletters and ongoing transactional emails. Work with email service provider to setup, execute and monitor campaigns. Increase use to subscriber conversion by testing and implementing event-triggered emails.

Creative:

  • Work closely with internal Creative team to develop marketing materials including marketing landing pages, advertising banners and email campaigns.
  • Develop copy for all marketing materials and update copy for corporate website.

Forecasting and reporting:

  • Maintain daily marketing report; work with Business Analyst on relevant analyses, including key trends
  • Collaborate with Finance team on annual plan, monthly forecasts and budgets
  • Identify reporting needs and collaborate with Development team to build reports necessary to manage the business and measure results vs. established goals

 Development projects:

  • Identify and recommend marketing development projects; quantify projected financial impact of any proposed projects
  • Work with Program Management team to ensure marketing development projects are scheduled and milestones are on track

 POSITION TYPE: Contract-to-Hire

 REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience with product and/or online/email marketing.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Wind River Device Management products enable OEMs to streamline QA testing and support processes by shortening the time to resolution of issues encountered by development teams, and ultimately, by users of deployed devices.   Lab Diagnostics enables OEMs to deploy quality products to market faster and Field Diagnostics increases uptime of deployed devices.

Device Management is a major growth initiative for Wind River and the Product Manager for Lab Diagnostics will influence near- and long-term revenue growth.  A successful Product Manager must be customer focused, working to understand OEMs’ business and technical challenges during system integration, software verification and product validation testing.   He/she must clearly document the problems and solutions in product requirement documents (PRDs) and be the voice of the customer during the development.  Coinciding with product releases, he/she must develop and execute on the rollout and launch plans.  Broad skills will be needed to plan out the long-term product vision to win in the market as well as be able to execute on the day-to-day decisions to successfully deliver.

  • Develop requirements and plan roadmaps through direct customer interaction, market research, competitive analysis, and by working with the sales force.
  • Communicate and refine those requirements with the development team, and successfully guide product design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Prepare and execute on go-to-market plans, including sales training, ecosystem awareness and outbound marketing.
  • Support sales and corporate marketing efforts as required.  Some travel required.
  • Generate content for outbound marketing material - i.e. product literature, benchmark, white papers, web seminars, etc.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • BA/BS (computer science or engineering preferred) required, MBA or equivalent a plus.
  • 5-7 years experience in leading efforts in the device software tool market such as product management, technical marketing, or field engineering.
    • Prior experience in software testing applications a plus.
    • Familiarity with embedded software and server applications a plus.
  • Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency. Must be resourceful, proactive and aggressive.
  • Natural leadership skills and the ability to work with all teams in the company.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity.
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations and start-up environments.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required.

Software Product Marketing Manager

Coverity is seeking a Product Marketing Manger to provide product marketing expertise for our innovative software quality and security products.  Previous experience in software marketing is essential, ideally expertise gained from positions within a technology-rich business.  The right candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, sharp intellectual curiosity, and a passion for communicating the benefits of technology that will change the way software is produced.

 Functional Responsibilities

The Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues in Product Management, Corporate Marketing and the office of the CTO to deliver strategic direction, product positioning, marketing content, PR, events and other promotional activities.  This Manager will be responsible for working with the Sales organization to ensure that regional sales teams are enabled with appropriate sales tools and that product launches are consistently and efficiently executed throughout the regions.

This individual will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing and play a key role in helping Coverity during a period of significant growth and opportunity.  Additional responsibilities include

  • Manage product positioning and go-to-market plans
  • Identify and communicate Coverity's brand attributes within unique features and benefits messaging
  • Support sales, manage/create datasheets, whitepapers, press releases, website content, product demos
  • Drive product launches, product positioning, product planning, and competitive analyses

Professional Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing highly technical software products to highly technical buyers. 

  • 2-3 years experience in software product marketing, ideally software tools or enterprise technology
  • Experience with and understanding of marketing communications activities
  • Experience in field marketing, programs a plus
  • BA/BS/MBA with Computer Science degree a plus
  • Experience with developer tools, security, quality tools a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – communicating technology to non-technical audiences
  • Proficient PC skills (MS applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial and results-oriented resume
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Strong work ethic 
  • The ability to get things done in an emerging, high-growth company
