Position:         Product Marketing- Sr. Manager/Director

Department:  Marketing

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

·         Go-to-market Strategy:  Develop and direct go-to-market activity to achieve planned business objectives and growth.  Drive marketing strategy. Analyze existing and potential routes to market and recommend successful strategies for maximizing revenues across the product portfolio.   Provide guidance on optimal marketing activities mix.

·         Positioning and Messaging: Create portfolio and solution messages that differentiate WebCollage from point-product vendors.  Synthesize multiple discrete messages into higher-level themes and represent these concepts to both business and technical buyers.

  • Solution Launches: Work across functional groups to plan the launch of solution initiatives.

·         Pricing/Packaging: Research and make recommendations for changes to pricing and packaging.

·         Product Evangelism: Communicate product/solution messaging to customers, prospects, analysts, journalists, other market influencers.   Evangelize WebCollage vision through series of speaking engagements and high-impact written communication.

·         Competitive Analysis: Closely monitor marketplace for competitive moves.  Sets strategic and tactical priorities derived from competitive intelligence, consumer feedback and emerging technologies to match business objectives.

·         Market research:  Utilize both secondary and primary research tools to understand customer segmentation and customer buying processes

 ·         Leadership:  Provides company thought leadership and manages product roadmap.  Demonstrates leadership, particularly in the areas of vision setting, influencing and maximizing the skills of a direct team and resources.

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·          Minimum 7 years experience in technology product marketing with progressively increasing responsibilities and a proven track record of success.

·          Proven proficiency in solutions-focused marketing – the ability to pull succinct messaging together from a broader portfolio to meet the needs of a specific market - for governments, rather than point-product messaging. 

·          Experience managing and launching product from inception to launch.

·          Experience developing solutions-focused messaging

·          Experience presenting in front of customers and prospects.

·          Experience working with, training and supporting sales team selling high-ticket products or solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.

·          Be driving force behind the creation of sales tools including sales powerpoints, data sheets, competitive analysis, flash overviews, etc.

·          MBA or equivalent experience.
