Job Summary:
As a Technical Content Developer 4 you are a key planner and strategist for the organization. You will proactively work with Business Unites to forecast future requirements for your department, and have responsibility for analyzing the impact new releases may have on several curriculums. Seen as a subject matter expert by Management, you provide recommendations on curriculum and deployment strategies. The projects you manage will be complex and you will lead the development team to meet objectives. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong project management, relationship building, and specific subject matter skills, as well as have a strong technical understanding of NetApp's hardware and software, and related technologies.
 
As a Training and Development Specialist, you will offer your expertise to research, develop and train internal Product and Program Management audience on their core competencies. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of a brand new learning program, apply your “get things done” attitude to directly impact the professional development of those who are responsible to bring innovative NetApp products to market.


Essential Functions:

1. Work with world-wide audience to assess skills and professional development needs of the Product and Program Management organization
2. Design and develop appropriate learning solutions for delivery through classroom and numerous alternative learning technologies
3. Apply formal marketing/communication strategy to maintain visibility of the learning solutions and accelerate skills transfer within the target audience
4. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions and modify/adapt solutions as necessary
5. Manage assessment/development projects to achieve desired results within schedule and budget expectations
 
 
 
Requirements:

1. Professional work experience in managing or supporting software product lifecycle processes
2. Demonstrated ability to build and manage collaborative partner relationships with technical organizations
3. Demonstrated expertise and success managing complex projects within time and budget constraints
4. Extremely strong presentation and facilitation skills
5. Experience with data storage / data management technologies a strong plus
6. Experience in delivering training is a plus

Education:
1. Bachelors Degree (management or software engineering) or equivalent education and experience
2. Training/certification in data storage / data management technologies a strong plus
3. Training/certification in learning technologies a plus
