Over 2,400 websites rely on TRUSTe to provide best practices for consumer choice, monitoring of privacy practices, and resolution of consumer privacy complaints. TRUSTe was formed in 1997 as a non-profit association and counts Internet leaders AOL and Microsoft among its sponsors. Since then TRUSTe has expanded its standards for consumer choice to address issues in email and downloadable software. Job Description

TRUSTe seeks an experienced, dynamic product management professional to own and manage the development of individual product lines in our evolving set of online trust products. Our mission, to enable trusting relationships between individuals and organizations in the networked world, serves as an exciting platform for product development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the success of one or more specific products/product lines, including market and business vision, value proposition, product management /development activities from technical specification through delivery, and accountability for attaining product goals.
  • Evangelize the product(s) inside and outside TRUSTe.
  • Manage key partner relationships
  • Oversee creative development, including the translation of new business and technology concepts into clean, simplified presentations and summarized documents for businesses and consumers
  • Provide cross-functional product team leadership and ‘Internal Marketing’ and support for new concepts, strategic directions, and products across the organization, interfacing with TRUSTe’s policy and legal, marketing, sales, information technology and operations areas.
  • As a key report to a vice president, contribute to overall product strategy for the organization.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in web technology related product/project management, including experience with successful internet technology product launches.
  • Specific professional experience in at least one of the following industries: privacy, email marketing, anti-spam, adware/ trackware, anti-spyware, accreditation, web/network security.
  • Proven ability to understand and present complex market dynamics and complex technologies
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Budgeting experience
  • Experience managing contractors
  • Excel/PowerPoint/etc required; Dreamweaver/Fireworks/Photoshop a plus
  • BS/BA; MBA an asset

The Retail Customer Experience Group is looking for an experienced TPPM to deliver key Amazon initiatives. As a TPPM in the Retail Customer Experience team you will have the unique opportunity to shape and impact Amazon.com global retail initiatives, our products and strategy. You will be driving large scale software initiatives, with a direct and visible impact on Amazon.com bottom line. In this role you will be responsible for collecting business and product requirements, writing product specifications, driving the product development schedule from design to release, making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams. The position will require working closely with category managers, software development, web development, site design, merchandising, and technology on product development and business requirements. You will also be responsible in part for managing business relationships as they relate to the products and services developed.

Finally, as a leader within RCX, you will strive to recruit and hire the best, to mentor and develop members of the team that delivers best in class products.

Qualified candidates must have 5 to 10 years of experience with a proven track record of delivering large scale, cross functional projects. The candidate must have excellent product and project management skills, demonstrated technical aptitude and experience, great analytical skills, strong business judgment, ability to resolve conflicts and set priorities.

Ideal candidate will also have direct and relevant experience in Online Retail, Consumer or eCommerce domains with a deep understanding of what constitutes an effective website, when to use new web and imaging technologies and insights into consumer shopping trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future offerings by conducting markeresearch, supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Driving a solution set across the company from market requirements to business planning to development contracts to positioning and launch
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of technology marketing/product management experience
  • Intimate knowledgeable in the Pragmatic Marketing vision for creating market-driven technology companies, the strategic role of product management and the new rules of marketing
  • Published author for online and print industry newsletters; track record as a speaker at industry events
  • Business, Marketing and/or Computer Science degree

This job is located in Scottsdale, AZ with relocation assistance considered. We will also consider this position as remote (virtual). Job requires up to 25% travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America and Europe.

Job Description

As Prosper's Marketing Communications Manager, you will be a key team member directly involved in the growth of our dynamic company. You will be responsible for the execution of strategic, tactical and other very tangible activities for Prosper's marketing efforts. You will also be on the front lines of Prosper's customer interaction in traditional and non-traditional marketing channels, such as trade shows and events. Responsibilities will include writing key communications (e.g. newsletters, site copy, user emails), research coordination, agency management, client follow up, presenting to customers as well as senior staff, collateral production management, event planning and management, and online Forum participation. This is a full-time position, ideally for a person who has 3-5 years of experience as a marketing manager, and who possesses strong writing skills. Flexibility, motivation and intellectual curiosity are a must. Compensation is competitive and includes equity incentives.

Responsibilities

The marketing communications manager will have two primary responsibilities:

Communications management:

  • Write, edit, and launch customer email newsletters and other direct marketing efforts
  • Marketing collateral coordination (printing, signage, promotional items)
  • Manage promotions and fulfillment (delivery, shipping, etc.)
  • Write, edit, and launch customer surveys and other research
  • Program budget management
  • Vendor/agency management

Event management

  • Live event planning and management and budget oversight
  • Ensure Prosper is represented flawlessly at numerous trade shows and events requiring reserving space, renting booths, and handling all associated details

Required Skills and Experience

  • B.S. or B.A.
  • At least 3 years professional experience in one or more of the following positions: MarComm, media planning, program and event management. Candidate should have identified and communicated business opportunities to management and implemented these programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing, friendly personality
  • Technically competent
  • Sophisticated use of Excel and Power Point
  • Proficient in HTML and basic web page building a plus
  • Experience with a other web analytics tools a plus
  • Ability to report and present to coworkers at all levels
