Reports To: Senior Manager of Online Marketing


The one of the world’s top high tech company’s seeks a Marketing Manager who is creative, resourceful and results-oriented to drive acquisition initiatives. In this role, you will identify, develop and implement strategies to deliver high-quality traffic to the most visited online dating service. You will be responsible for building and evolving acquisition campaigns across several channels including Search Marketing (SEM) and Optimization (SEO), Affiliates, and Media Campaigns both on and off the The Company’s Network with the objective to drive traffic and subscriptions at a cost effective ROI. As the Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will create, measure, analyze and optimize online campaigns, and manage internal partners and external agencies to achieve marketing goals. This is a challenging role for a marketer who is looking to have a measurable impact on a consumer-driven subscription-based business.

  • Responsible for driving traffic acquisition initiatives to reach site traffic and conversion goals
  • Manage search marketing campaigns by maintaining a large database of keywords and continually updating with new terms on search engines. Lead bid optimization strategies utilizing post click conversion tracking tools and develop succinct and relevant copy for text ads
  • Conduct competitive research and monitor competitor’s keyword activity
  • Actively manage agency relationships to continually drive improvement in ROI
  • Manage the affiliate program, our relationship with the corporate affiliate marketing team, Commission Junction, and top affiliates
  • Enable affiliates to leverage our web services, APIs, and data feeds for content distribution
  • Leverage internal search programs for all online dating-related keywords

Qualifications

  • 5 years marketing experience, with at least two years online marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of the Internet and experience developing and executing traffic acquisition programs
  • Experience implementing SEM campaigns with a large number of keywords and utilizing bid optimization strategies in conjunction with post click conversion tracking
  • Strong interpersonal skills required, as well ability to work in a fluid, multi-functional, matrix environment
  • Ability to prioritize a small number of projects that will deliver the greatest impact on business objectives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented, great attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills to test, measure, refine, and report on the impact of marketing programs
  • Familiarity with web services, APIs, and data feeds a plus
  • Bachelors degree
